Four-stage filtration system for a safe working environment on ships

In shipping, there are several sources potentially releasing harmful and nuisance odours. We specialise in air purification systems on board ships for the capture of high concentrations of H2S fumes, among other things. To guarantee gas-free (H2S) living quarters, a four-stage filter system is needed. Allsorb has developed a filtration system where, among other things, a very high efficiency of 99.99% is achieved for H2S . This guarantees a safe working environment and ensures continuity in the work to be performed. To achieve this high efficiency, good pre-filtration of moisture in vapour form is necessary. A lamella clarifier and special hydrophobic filter is part of the filtration system.
