HICAP HEPA filter
Product description
HICAP HEPA Filter
The HICAP HEPA filter is a highly efficient particulate filter in standardized dimensions for both mounting in filter housings and in "safe change" HEPA filter housings. The HICAP HEPA filter is used to remove fine and ultrafine particles from the airflow in supply and exhaust systems where very high standards for acceptable dust concentrations are demanded. This includes high-tech industries and laboratories such as microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, hospitals, and nuclear applications.
High-Quality Design
High-quality microglass filter media are automatically pleated and separated by hotmelt beads during the production process, ensuring a stable and uniform pleat spacing. The pleated media packs are fully cast into sturdy metal frames, resulting in an extremely robust design and preventing possible damage during transport and installation. Compared to traditional HEPA filters, the HICAP filter allows for smaller filter housings and longer-term savings due to the high allowable capacity of 4,000 m³/h per filter.
Benefits of HICAP HEPA Filter
When replacing traditional HEPA filters in existing installations, the resistance will be significantly lower. This lower initial pressure difference results in lower energy consumption and a longer lifespan for the HEPA filter, thereby reducing operational costs. The Allsorb HICAP HEPA filter can be used up to 70°C and 100% relative humidity, as long as the temperature remains below the dew point. Filters used in supply air applications can be disposed of in the regular waste. Filters contaminated with toxic, pathogenic, or radioactive dust must be disposed of as hazardous waste.
